Approximately 640,000 tons of fishing gear are lost or abandoned in the ocean each year, killing millions of animals. By using recovered fishing nets to make new fabrics, we can recycle nylon many times and develop new products. Sustainable production reduces natural resource use by 27%, greenhouse gas emissions by 28%, and helps reduce marine pollution.
